Holly Newton

President

Momma to 2 Raccoons - Bradley (5th grade) & Lyla (3rd grade). Full-time government employee and full-time PTO mom (3rd year). I love to spend any free time with my family boating, fishing, watching movies & snuggling, singing & dancing, crafting, playing games...or anything else that we can get into with our 2 doodles, Abby & Emmy (who think they are human too).

Jordan Knowlton

Vice President

Mama to Ava (3rd grade) and brand new raccoon Maddie (K). In my free time, I love hanging with my babes, hubby of 13 years- Nic (& our crazy pup Willow & cat Daffodil), crafting and making all the bows, diy home projects, & currently attempting to be a runner! By trade I am a Nurse Practitioner and will be a substitute Nurse for SCPS this year. I am super excited to be involved with all things RES!

Brandi Valentin

Some of you or your children may recognize my face, as a PTO volunteer or as a Rockhill substitute, maybe even both.

I would like to share a little bit about myself. My family consists of my husband (Yomar), my daughter (Carmen) who is an RES scholar, and our cat (Leeloo). We are a military family who has spent our time divided between living in VA and overseas (EU & UK). But, we have finally set roots here in Stafford! In my free time I love to cook, bake, and deep dive into some crafts. I am so excited to share that I am graduating this summer with a bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies! This has been a long awaited goal.

I am so happy to be a part of the RES family and community. I look forward to serving you all and continuing to show my support. Rockhill Strong!!

Hello Rockhill families! I am so happy to be serving my second year as your PTO secretary. My husband and I settled in Stafford 5 years ago with our 2 children, Harper (2nd grade), and Logan (3rd grade), and our fur babies Gunner and Diesel. I can't wait for another great year at RES!

I am a mom of 2 boys,Tyler and Lucas. One is a tiger across the street and the other has one more year as a raccoon! We are a military family and have been so blessed to call Rockhill home for the past 3 years. I love spending any free time with family and friends, watching Tennessee football and baseball, going to Disney as much as possible, and playing with our two sweet golden retrievers: Elsa and Belle. As a Rockhill alum, teacher, and mom, I am so excited to serve our amazing school in one more capacity!

I have been a special education teacher at Rockhill for 11 years and have been with SCPS for 13 years. I am thankful to work at an amazing school! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and traveling.

Hospitality Chair

Mom of 3 - Porter (10), Jillian (5), and Hatcher (2). This is our family's 6th year in Stafford and at Rockhill. We enjoy hiking, going to the beach, & camping. More recently I have found joy in gardening and refinishing furniture. We have a Mastador named Brewski, who looks big & intimidating but is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. I can't wait to see what this year brings!

Mother of four (2 Rockhill grads and 1 currently in 5th grade). We are a retired military family from California/Florida and have lived in VA for the past 9 years

Mom to Ryan (4th grade) and Brooke (recent Rockhill grad). We moved up from Miami and this will be our 4th year at Rockhill. I look forward to a great school year filled with fun events!

My Rockhill scholars are Nathaniel (5th grade), CJ (2nd grade), and future racoon Hannah (5 yo). Three words I'd use to describe myself: extrovert, laughter, snacks!

Kristin Sauer

Mom to 2 wild and wonderful boys (Emerson-6th grade/Micah-4th grader at Rockhill), wife to Adam. My favorite days include being with my family, movies, outdoors, travel, reading, church and art. My trade is as an abstract artist, but I have put that on hold for the time being. Excited to be working with the PTO!

Amanda (Mandy) Best

Mama to a third grader, Savannah. I'm a fourth year Rockhill parent and a third year PTO board member. I enjoy baking, hiking, being outdoors, volunteering (which is why I'm here!), and spending time with my family and friends (which is also why I'm here!). In my professional life, I work in finance for the government.

Ashley Westbrooks

I'm a mom of 3 kiddos, 1 boy & 2 girls. My oldest goes to Mountain View, my middle child is a brand new RES Grad, and my youngest will start school this year! We're originally from Illinois, but call Virginia home. We're a former military family and we've lived in Ohio, Hawaii and now Virginia. I've been married to my best friend, Mike for 15 years. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, baking, crafting, watching baseball (Go Cardinals!), listening to music, and reading. I love the color blue, fall, and anything fall related, and my favorite day of the week is Friday. I'm looking forward to another great year as part of the PTO!
